Grant access to Facebook friendslist belatedly?

Hey

 recently registered to Spotify and I logged in via Facebook. I didn't allow the app at this point to acess my FB friendslist but now I'd like it to connect to my FB friends via Spotify. Is there any solution to grant access to the FB friendslist belatedly? I tried the FB privacy options and also to delete the app on FB and reconnect it there, yet, but it didn't help.

On a Windows machine, open Spotify and head to Edit > Preferences... > Facebook. Is your account already connected? If it is, disconnect and re-connect it.

After that, on the right side of the program, you should see your Friend Feed. If you don't, click on "View" > "Friend Feed". Scroll all the way to the bottom and click "Find Friends", do your Facebook friends appear?

I already tried that, didn't work. Tough I discovered yesterday I could
still connect to Facebook via the mobile app and now it works.
