HELP - Cannot change country of residence

Hello,

I created my Spotify account a very long time ago (I honestly do not remember when) in the USA, but I am currently in South Africa until March 2016. Spotify will all of a sudden not let me log in because my country does not match the country listed in my account. When I go to my account page to change the country, when I click the text box it just turns into a drop down with "USA" as the only option, which is checked, so it is literally not letting me change my country. I have attached a screenshot of what it looks like. 

This is extremely frustrating and I have searched far and wide for an answer and it seems like MANY, MANY people have this exact same issue. 

I am on a free account, if this makes any difference.
