Hacked or Pranked

Solved!

Hacked or Pranked

I have been using my Spotify Premium for Family on my PC all day. I moved out of the room and started using my phone to control the playlist and it kept stopping. The PC error said my account is being used elsewhere. While there's 5 of us on the account, no one has my information.

So I kept hitting play and making it continue.

Then it switched to some artist I've never heard of (jaman?) and kept switching songs, switching between my phone and PC as the player and skipping around on the timeline. I immediately changed my password but want to know if there's a way to find the location of connections made on your account to determine if it's a prank or someone hacked me.

I can't find any information on the forums or the help page. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Another device is logged in to your account. I see you've changed your password which is great and if you haven't already I would log out of all your accounts which you can do by

1. Going to your account page.

2. Clicking "SIGN OUT EVERYWHERE".

After that, I would contact Spotify directly through this form where you can tell them exactly what's going on and they should be able to see who is accessing your account.

The same has happened to me in the past and it just ended up being a friend's computer that I forgot to sign out of, but you never know!

Good luck!
