Have free account but geting charged fot the premium

Have free account but geting charged fot the premium

According the the website I have the free account but I'm paying for the premium account ...an I just want to cancel it an get a refund ...but I am not about to cancel it on the website

Hey @Johnstegall1992,

 

It sounds like you've got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails -- that will mean your extra account is registered with that email.

 

  • If you don't have another email address, note how you log into the Spotify app usually.
  • If you use your Facebook details try entering your Spotify username (if you created one originally).
  • If you use your Spotify username try entering just your email address.

  • Try logging in with any and all usernames/passwords you may have used to create an account, or that you regularly use elsewhere. 
  • Enter all email addresses you use into our password reset form (you must be logged out). If an account exists, you’ll receive an email with further details. 
  • If you use Facebook, you might have created a Spotify account through that. Try using LOG IN WITH FACEBOOK
  • Check your bank statements, as you might have purchased Premium. If you find any charges from Spotify, check your email inbox and spam folders for the receipt. This will include your account details.
