Hi there,
I have just now signed up for Spotify, creating a new account from scratch, not using my facebook account.
I specified a username during the sign up process, and yet now that i am finished, my username is showing up as a bunch of random letters and numbers, which is completely different to the one i picked...
Can someone tell me how to fix this?
I signed up using my phone, which is running the Android operating system.

In this case I suggest you get in touch with the Spotify Cares staff - They'll be happy to help you further with this.
There are a few ways to contact them. One is via Twitter - just send them a Direct Message @SpotifyCares.
Another great way is to use the Facebook support. Shoot them a message here: Spotify Cares. They generally reply very quickly.
If you don't want to use the social media channels, you can fill out the online contact form. Make sure to reply to the automated email you'll receive directing you back to the help pages, even if it's from a no-reply. Support usually gets back within a day or two.

Ah so sorry, i should have been more specific, its my username in the Spotify app that i’m having trouble with, when i signed up to Spotify. I put in a username in the sign up process but it’s not using it for some weird reason. And i can’t log in using the username i created either, so i’ve just been logging in using my email address.
