i have a free Spotify plan and an iPhone 6s. My Spotify says it's up to date too. The problem is it says it cannot open link with my kind of device. I tried deleting it and downloading it again but it still wont work. It doesn't need to be updated either

What iOS and Spotify version are you running? Do you have any issues if you copy and paste the link into the app instead of tapping on it?

Also, when you reinstalled, did you follow the exact steps listed here?
