I'm sorry, I don't know if this is the right place to post this question, but I couldn't find another support channel to use. I can't recall if I may have signed up for Premium at one point and so do not know if I'm eligible for the Google Home Mini offer. Is someone able to help me confirm? Also, if I do want to sign up for Premium to take advantage of this offer, are there any requirements in terms of subscription term length, or could I say, subscribe for one month, order the Home Mini, and then unsubscribe? I don't have plans to do this, but want to make sure I'm clear about what exactly I'd be committing to, in order to receive the device.

Hi, yes I've read that thanks. Was hoping for a confirmation that there's
no subscription time requirement to be eligible and to see if someone could
confirm that my account has not been upgraded to premium previously, since
it's not obvious to me from the interface.

To get a Google Home Mini, you will need to have an active Premium subscription.

For how long is an active subscription required? Is there a term length or is just one month enough to satisfy eligibility?

Great question.

As long as you're in the US, and you have an active Premium subscription, then you should be able to redeem a Google Home Mini.

Hi - I've met all of those requirements and it gives me this error:

We couldn’t confirm your eligibility for a Google Home Mini.

Check spotify.com/premium to see if this offer is still active, and try again.

Make sure you’ve logged in with the right account, too.

I have been a premium member for at least 4 years, and I currently am in my last year of being able to receive the student discount.  Why am I not able to be validated for the offer?

Edit: Also, I do have a recurring automatic payment set up from my credit card, and I am certainly an active premium subscriber - I use Spotify over 8 hours a day.
