How can I change my username?

Yeah, I know that I can't change my username on Spotify, but I really want to know if anyone can help me. So, I am trans, but you just need to know that I changed my name and I hate my old name (like, I can't look at it without felling terrible). When I created my account on Spotify, I wasn't out as trans yet so my username is my old name, and I really need to change it. I can't create another account either, because my family has a premium plan and I can't put my new account there. I've already talked to other trans people about this problem and they related a lot. I don't know if it will happen, but it would be nice if Spotify let us change our usernames.

It’s not possible to change your username on Spotify, since it’s needed to identify you. You’re able to add or change a display name, where it shows on your profile, Friend Activity, etc. More information and steps on how to do this can be found here.
