How do I add a family member HELP!!!

Okay so I've had a premium individual account for a while now. I've shared the account back and forth with my fiancé (I pay the bill) and I decided to upgrade to family plan. I tried sharing the link for her to add and says she is already on my account. Would she have to log out and then look at the link I sent? I'm confused

She has to have own account so you send invite her to your Family account.

Invite a member

Only the administrator of the plan is able to invite a member. 

To invite someone to join one of the allotted subaccounts in your plan:

1. Go to your account page.
2. Click MANAGE.
3. Click on an available Empty Slot.
4. Click INVITE MEMBER BY LINK or enter the e-mail of the person you want to invite. ClickSEND INVITE.

This does not work! Worst help ever! Can Spotify get a small call center for some real support?!? All of my invites can not connect. I am going back to Apple Music. Complete BS

First let's make sure of few things.

1. You and your wife has own accounts and you're not sharing the same exact account?

2. Your wife does not have any active Premium Membership? You wife's account needs to be Free before you can invite her.

Yes I've tried everything. Only one account active and the 3 family members, who have never had Spotify, cannot connect because it says the have an account already. I just canceled my subscription and going with Apple Music. At least they have support. Thanks for the quick reply but Spotify sucks when it comes to support for its customers.

Don't leave yet, I'm sure we can sort this out. Sometimes it just needs few more messages and issue is sorted. Let's try this again but this time make sure to clean your browser cache and ask your family member #1 to create a new email address and new Spotify account, then repeat those steps with every family member.

Let me know when you have all emails and Spotify accounts up and running, then invite them through your account.

Okay so thank you very much! I got her account added but how can I get all of my songs on her account?

You can drag all your Playlist on your desktop and then your wife can drag those top of her Spotify window, then she can use Ctrl + A and make a new Playlist.

That should work correctly, let me know if it doesn't.
