How do I change from premium to premium student?

HI, i just found out about the premium student discount 50 percent of, I ve been using spotify premium full price for a few months now and was wondering if i could switch to the student price for those 12 months...or would i have to cancel the premium and then switch back to it on student terms? (i am a student living in Germany)

Unfortunately you will have to sign up  for the student discount as a new user 😞

To sign up for the student discount, go here:
http://spotify.com/student

You may need to first cancel your current subscription before signing up for the student discount if you are getting an error message.
