How do I compltely close my acount?

I find no place in here to close my account. I set up a free one but as there is no way to untangle the two wish to completely close the account.

Can anyone help me with how I completely close my Spotify account? I've written an email to Spotify for more than a week ago and all I've got en return is an automatic amail telling me they will get back, which they havent't. So if anyone could please help me, I'd be glad.

As silly as it sounds, just reply directly to that automated email reply you got (even if it says not too) and your case will be pushed over to an advisor who will be able to help you out 😉

Companies that take this route are disgusting! If you are serious internter company the abliity to close your account should be within your profile options without going through customer support via e-mail... What kind of mickey mouse operation is this?

I also would like to close my account since you rip off artists from the famous to the obscure, paying them only pennies per tens of thousands of plays while your CEO has become wealthy stealing from the artists who make the music you pimp out.. You might consider putting the option to opt out on your site rather than telling members to wait for an email that supposedly lets you opt out but doesn't.

This message will be posted with repetition until you close my account.

@AnastasiaR - As long as you have replied to the automated email which you get after you submit a case, an adviser should be back in touch within 48 hours.

U can close ur account.

Just follow these steps.

1. Open ur computer.

2. Go to Settings and remove Spotify if U want to do so.

3. Open ur browser, write Spotify.com.
4. Have a look at bottom of site and click About.

5. Have a look for contact form.

6. Ask for account close.

7. Wait for response, if U get some automated replies to look at page of help /community, U can just reply back and ask agaaaaain for account close.
8. Wait for response in this case.

thats why they mug people into becoming "rockstars" just a cheap, sorry FREE way, of supporting users which is always going to be a disaster; I mean, why pay someone to do the job properly when you can get amatuers to do a crap job?

@gdsauk - Spotify have a huge support team actually! The Spotify community is not a support channel (and it does say that when you register for it).

But if there are better services then I'm sure you will find one you like!

I suggest you contact support so they can close your account:

If you get an automated reply email, you need to reply back to it.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Hello,

I have two accounts, very similar. One in Norway and one in sweden. i would like to close down my swedish one and only use and share lists from my norwegian account. I have read the forum and i see peoples questions about asking to close accounts, but no public answers.

How can I close my swedish account teddie_wahlin which is connected to my facebook, and keep my norwegian one teddie.wahlin and then connect THAT one to my facebook instead. I tried just to connect the norwegian one with facebook but that did not work. I would be very greatful for any support I can get.
