How do you add a new issue?

How do you add a new issue?

I can't see any way of adding a new issue. Is it possible or are these some how auto added from other posts?

So who does add new ongoing issues?

Is it limited to a select few? Presumably, you are able to do so?

I've sent my issue to the Spotify support email. They've acknowledged it is an issue and are looking into it. 

I will continue to email them direct with any issues I have, but it seems a bit daft not to use the community forum for these.

Thanks for the reply,  and I am glad to hear that Spotify's Support team is looking into the issue that your facing. In order to ensure that you get back to rocking quicker, Spotify recommends posting in a help board where you are able to get the Community's support to see if it's something that can be rectified.

If an issue has a wide range of reports then the post is moved to the On-Going Issue board however not all issues move to the on-going issue board, in a number of cases issues that have updates from the team responsible for the issue are posted here.

 

The process for reporting issues through the Community is explained in this Spotify AnswerAs mentioned, someone from the Spotify Customer Support team should be in touch as soon as they have a further update on the issue that your facing.

Ok. Thanks. I read the post and got the answer at the very end.

 

I did post my issue on the forums and I posted several follow ups. I had one response from a community member suggesting I switch my app on and off, which was most definitely not the solution. I basically wasted quite a bit of time posting a serious issue on the community and getting nowhere. I contact Spotify direct and get an almost instant response, confirmation that the issue is a problem and a promise that they will look into it and update me in a few weeks time.

 

That's the sort of support I like.

Thanks for filling me in on that, Iโ€™m sorry to hear that. In this case, Iโ€™ll pass your feedback across to the teams at Spotify for review regarding the Community experience as theyโ€™re always striving to improve.

 

As you are aware, Spotifyโ€™s Community Forums are open to other users who try to help where they can as well as Spotify staff who moderate and jump in on threads but due to the number that happen everyday itโ€™s sometimes not always possible, if you prefer to use the alternative contact methods to get support directly with a Spotify Support Advisor as you have in this case to raise concerns with your Spotify app or account youโ€™re more than welcome to do so and someone will be in touch, all your contact options are here in-case you need help in the future.
