How to UNLINK FACEBOOK - Articles Are Incorrect

There is no socal media choice in my Preferences. 

Please tell me how to actually unlink my account. Thank you

Well, have you signed up through facebook? If so, there's no chance to unlink it from your account except deleting it. If you signed up via email and connected to facebook once, you need to unlink facebook in your client settings (no on the spotify homepage) by clicking on "Spotify > Preferences". There should be an social media section for sure!
