How to apply my NUS discount to my Premium?

Hi, I have been trying apply my NUS discount on to my current account. I can't seem to find it anywhere and I have used the link which should guide. I got premium with the 99p for 3 months deal. It's now finished and I'm back to free. Do I need to pay the full price in order for the discount to work in the next payment? Please help as I have been trying countless time
