How to get nus discount if already a premium subscription holder?

Hi

I have been a spotify premium customer since July this year paying the full £10 monthly fee. I recently starting university and just got my NUS extra card but I don't know how to convert my current premium account to a discounted premium one. On the help page, it says to go the NUS website and sign up from there but I'm already a paying customer with a pre existing account. Can anyone advise on how to deal with this situation?

Hi there, and welcome to the community!

Follow these steps:

1. Cancel your current subscription - http://spotify.com/account/subscription. Dont worry, your premium won't end immediately 🙂
2. Go to http://spotify.com/nus and click the button.
3. Login, if it asks you to.
4. Enter your NUS Extra number and DOB.
5. Confirm it, confirm the subscription
6. Enjoy the discount 🙂
