I'm a premium user from Spain and I've seen Movistar (telephony company) is offering Spotify Premium with a discount of 40% in monthly fee. Must I cancel my account and open a new one to take advantage of this offer or is there any simpler way to do it?

Normally you will need to get your account to revert to Spotify free so the partner provider can upgrade your account on their systems (to bill you) but again, you should ask them since they should know what to do 😉

I've been trying since Wednesday... and I still can`t do it
I`ve allegedly cancelled my unlimited subscription (despite it says to be active until March the 31th)
I`ve even received the movistar confirmation SMS
..and i can`t still use on myiPhone

I have the same problem. Just activated Spotify Premium through spanish Movistar, and I received ths sms claiming everything was ok and should have premium by now, but unlimited still shows up when I open spotify. How can I fix this? Thanks al lot in advance.
Hi there, I signed up for Movistar rebate and cancelled my premium account.
Movistar says everything's fine on their website, but now that the last Premium payment is over, I find myself on a Free account.
Even though Movistar did charge the Premium service.
What's going on there? With whom should I talk?
I've been using Spotify for quite a long time and this type of trouble is tiresome and sad.

First thing I would do is get in touch with Movistar and ask them what username they have put on premium, its pretty common to accidentally have two accounts, so make sure you are logging in with the one they say is on premium.
