I am unable to stop spotify emails and cannot connect my facebook account to spotify

I have two spotify accounts, I dont know why.  I would like my facebook account to be attached to my spotify account but this seems to be impossible, the app times out and shuts down everytime I try to connect the two.  I am also receiving emails from spotify everyday about facebook friends joining Spotify despite having checked never in all email options in the back end of both accounts. 

Thoughts?

You should be able to connect the account to facebook via the website - login to your non-facebook account and link it to your facebook account 🙂
