I can not reset my password, but I cant set up a new account with the same email

I can not reset my password, but I cant set up a new account with the same email

I tried to reset my password, but the i get an error saying "The username or email you provided is not associated with an active Spotify account." But then when I tried to set up a new account with the email, it says "We're sorry, that email is taken."

 

Any ideas?

I suggest you contact support so they can help you with the account

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

 

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
