I live in the US but I used to live in France, Spotify won't let me change my country so I'll be able to listen to music, without making me pay! I shouldn't have to pay, I don't need to upgrade cause I'm "traveling" I just need them to get that I live in the US just like my IP address shows, and that I need to change my country from France to USA...
Can I not do this without paying??

I'm having an issue with this as well. I made my account in the US, where I live, but am staying in France for 3 months for a study abroad program. I have nothing but US bank cards and don't intend to set up an account at a French bank when I'm staying so briefly. Are we saying that there's nothing I can do to use Spotify until I get back to the States?

how do i change my country. im in canada but my account was on usa for some reason, i didnt chose that. Now my spotify wont work at all because i have to change my country but I cant its blascked out. it says read more and i click itr and it tells me to use the thing thats blacked out. this is impossible. and now i cant use spotify at all.

Hi, ok, so I get there's nothing shady going on, but how do I actually update my billing information now that I'm in another country without being charged for the first month.
Additionally, I have moved to Colombia, but I still only have a US credit card. I have gone thru the upgrade purchase flow and hit the country option, but there is no option to simply save my information without agreeing to be charged for at least the first month of premium.
And if my memory serves, if I cancel my premium subscription, I will be charged for the first month and it will stay active until the end of that billing cycle, rather than refunding me for a prorated month.
I have also submitted a ticket thru the contact form asking the same thing, but have yet to have heard back.

Hi I have a quick question. I am currently studying in the UK and I want to buy premium but it's not letting me unless I change my account to Malaysia as I have a Malaysian card. Since I live in UK would there any problems if I change my store just to get premium or is there another way to do it?
I have repeatedly been directed to forums to solve my moving country problem, and as we know this is useless.

If you still have not gotten a reply:
Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.
If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.
If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.
