I can´t connect my Spotify account to my Tinder account

My Question or Issue

When I click the option on Tinder to add my Spotify account (which is with Facebook) it opes up the page to do so, however, when I actually try to log in with Facebook, it says that it won´t allow me to log in through an internal browser. I have no idea if I should be posting this here since this is related to Tinder but I thought maybe someone here could help.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

Could you try logging in with the email address registered in your account and your password instead of the Facebook option to see if that makes the difference? 

If you don't have a password, you can set it using your account's email address here. You can see the email address registered in your account in your overview page here.

Thank you for your reply in this thread and for the troubleshooting you've done so far.

To link Spotify to your Tinder account, just follow these steps. If that doesn't work, a reinstall of both apps would ensure that they are up-to date and give the apps a fresh start. Here you can find a helpful tips for reinstalling Spotify.  

In case this issue still persist, can you let us know exactly where or after which step are you seeing the error message? A screenshot of it would come in handy to us as well.

Make sure not to include any private info.

Hello, sorry for only replying now, I did that and it worked! I didn´t know I could use my spotify account like this without facebook.

I don't have screenshots, but I try to log in through my email on the tinder screen, and it just automatically goes back to the original "don't have Spotify?" Screen. If I try to log in through Google, it opens my chrome browser and just logs into Spotify, it doesn't link anything or show any indication that it was from the tinder link. 

I've tried deleting and reinstalling tinder, but it didn't help

Thanks for the post.

Can you check in your phone's settings if the Tinder app is granted all Permissions? Maybe access to the browser or connecting to other apps is blocked.

I'm having the same issue. All permissions are granted.  Did you find a solution?

Open tinder from a browser. Not the app. There you should be able to link your tinder acct.

I also had this problem! I fixed it by going on another tinder profiles (someone's tinder profile where they have their spotify) and if you scroll down to their songs, there should be an option that says "link spotify" next to their songs and then you can link it!

Hi there! I am also having this problem, relieved to see I'm not alone. I also login to Spotify with a Google account so I am thinking that is related to the issue. Please let me know when there is a fix, I've tried everything suggested above!
