I can't connect to facebook with my spotify account no matter how many times I press it

Since, there's no other way to change my username, I've tried to connect my spotify account to my facebook instead. I have spotify installed into my desktop. Everytime I go to my settings and press "connect to facebook" nothing happens, even if I press it multiple times. What can I do?

Have you created an account through Facebook in the past? If so, you'll need to close that account before linking Facebook to a new account.
