My Question or Issue

Hi there.

I can't download music because the app shows an alert saying "Devices limit reached," even though I have only downloaded it on my phone and iPad. I think Spotify might be considering all devices where the app was previously downloaded, even if the session was closed or the app was reinstalled on the same devices. How can I remove these devices?

Hey @sxlk,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

I recommend maling sure that you've removed all Spotify offline music from the devices that you don't use, otherwise, they'll still count towards your offline device limit. 🙂

To remove offline music from a device, open the Spotify app > Settings > Storage > Remove all downloads.

If you've already done that and the issue persists, please reach out to Support here.

I hope this helps! 🙂
