I can't find my spotify profile when I type it into the search bar , why?

I just created a new account but when I type my profile name onto the search bar I can't find it. Like for example if I type in (AXY) ( not my real profile name) into the search bar only some other users turn up but my profile name doesn't turn up at all

Thanks for reaching out to us about this!

Bear in mind that you won't be able to search for your profile using your Facebook name if your Spotify account is linked to your Facebook account.

What you can do instead is the following:

• Open the Spotify desktop app
• Go to your profile page via the link in the top-right corner
• Under your username, you'll notice three dots. Click the three dots > Share > Copy Spotify URI
• Copy the Spotify URI into the search bar in the Spotify app and it should appear 🙂
