I can't get back into my premium free trial

I signed up for the premium free trial but my spotify has gone back to the free with ads version. I've tried logging out and uninstalling. If I try to resign up it tells me I already have an account.

By saying that you've signed up for Premium trial, but your account has reverted back to the free service, you got us thinking that your attempt to pay has not been successful.

We'd recommend logging in on your account page and checking your receipts. If your Spotify payment is marked as 'pending' on your statement, it might not have gone through successfully on our end. If you see that the payment failed, check out this page as you can find troubleshooting steps on failed payments there. 

If the above is not the case, you might be logged into another account. Again, you can check that on your Account page - you should see Premium there. If you still are not seeing Premium on this account but you know you've activated the trial, can you try locating your other account with the steps here?
