I can't log in it says I am offline and yet this help says this problem has been fixed?

I have a samsung galaxy s7 edge I had a software update on the 2nd of may and now can't access my Spotify it says I am offline. I have uninstalled, cleared cache switched off and re booted my phone and re installed all to no effect. I looked at the problem on here and it says fixed! Please help. Yes I have checked I am online
And that article but nothing's changed am going to cancel my
subscription I think
