I can't play songs from my playlists after premium trial ended

Solved!

I can't play songs from my playlists after premium trial ended

Hi,

After my  premium trial had ended, play lists that I available offline before can't be played. The "available offline" button is still on, I try to off it but  thought I was trying to on it and said "Offline mode is a Premium exclusive feature. Get Premium"

I guess because that button is on so that's why I cant play songs. I tried to delete my play list and add songs again to it but those songs that was in my play list before cant be played. But if I add new songs to the play list, it worked. But how do I play the old songs from my play lists? Need help, please reply asap. Thanks.

I had the same problem but I resolved it by deleting the Spotify cache.

To do that go to "Spotify -> Preferences -> Show advanced config" and write down the cache location; close Spotify and use your file browser to go to the folder that holds the cache; delete everything inside that folder (but not the folder itself); restart Spotify and enjoy.

Regards.

Hey @jackieleejelly! Welcome to the Spotify Community. ^^

That doesn't sound quite right.

Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.

Let us know if that helps, thanks! ^^

Peace

Yes, I tried to reinstall spotify, restart my laptop, log out and log in back again. But it still doesn't work. Thanks anyways 🙂

Thanks a lot. It was such an easy way to fix my spotify, also for the detail information. You helped me a lot and finally I can use back spotify instead of spotify web.
