I cancelled my subscription - but nothing happened

Hi,

 

I am trying to change my subscription from Spotify Premium to Telia Spotify Premium, since my new subsciption on Telia mobile phone includes Spotify.

 

In the beginning of January I followed Telias instructions and this link https://www.spotify.com/se/account/subscription/cancel/why and ended my subscription of Spotify Premium. I was then informed that my subscription was to end February 12, and I understood that I had to wait for that date before taking the next step. 

 

Today, logging in to my account on Spotify trying to continue with this - I was very suprised finding that the date has changed to March 13, and that my old subriction seems to be back on track as before. Why?? I chose Telia to get 12 free Spotify months, and now I have already lost 2 months. I am not very happy with this, and I do not want to wait another month to get Telia Spotfy Premium started.

I suggest you contact Spotify support using this contact form, If you get an automated reply just reply back to speed things up.

Just wondering did you get a confirmation email from Spotify? You should have received one was your subscription was terminated.

Hm, no I don´t think so. But I am pretty sure that I went through the whole procedure with "are you sure you want to end your subscription" and "are you really really sure" and answered "yes", "yes" etc... But maybe something went wrong 😞

 

Anyway - I´ve asked Spotify and are waiting for their reply. If there isn´t anything else to do I have to give it another try, I guess.

I´ve got a feeling that I am going to regret this "saving money" through Telia... It´s more like "save money" but "spend a lot of time", right now.. ha ha! 

If you let us know your 8-digit case number (its in the subject line of the confirmation email when you submit a case) we can ask for it to be chased up for you too. 😉

I didn´t get any confirmation mail...? (Things are not going my way, are they, ha ha...)    

But at least I got an answer from Spotify support, saying that they will help me to end my subscription.

They also wrote "If there’s anything I can do to persuade you to stay, please let me know and see what I can do." That is nice of them - but it makes me thinkt they never read my question? Hey, I am NOT leaving Spotify, I just want to use the offer I got from Telia...
