I cannot add an email to my account

I created an account a few months ago as i lost my pervious one. Somehow, i dont have an email attached to the account. I have gone into 'edit profile' but it will not allow me to type into the boxes.....?

If your account was created through Facebook, there are some details that you can't edit on your end, like the email address.
