I cannot get my discount for student spotify

i live in Canada, I was verified to get the student discount for 4.99 and every time I click the link to set up the discount it says that an account has already used the discount but I never used the discount yet.

My Question or Issue

 Please help me be able to get my student discount without it saying I already have it which I don’t. I never got the chance to put in my credit card number to change it to student plan.
