Spotify says his address is wrong, but it is the same as mine

Sorry to see this has been happening to you!
Have you tried the process via a desktop PC with a LAN internet connection, no VPN and an incognito browser window?
This seems to be the most sure-fire way of making things work as accurately as possible.

And also, please keep in mind that an account needs to be on free in order for it to successfully join a Family or a Duo plan.

In addition to that, you may try changing both addresses to a more general address in your vicinity or you may try removing any street or house numbers to see if that makes a difference.
