I have been charged for this month £9.99 despite cancelling my subscription

Solved!

I have been charged for this month £9.99 despite cancelling my subscription

I paid for the 3 months for 99p, 3 months ago, and the day I did this I cancelled my subscription to premium, I know this worked as when it came to re-pay for premium I got error messages saying my premium would run out etc. However, I check my online banking today and see a transaction to Spotify for £9.99??? So somehow Spotify has re-instated my premium membership without asking me.

To top this all off if I wanted to pay for premium I would have purposefully gone and paid using UniDays as I am a student, however now I am -£9.99 in my bank, which when you are a student and earn minimum wage can make a difference when you need to pay for various things like bus fares and driving lessons.

Is there any possibility of a refund of this?

if no how can I ensure this will never happen again?

Hey @user-removed,

You can get a refund before 15 days have passed from the date of purchase. You should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.
