Dear Spotify,

 

I am 100% certain I have been hacked. I know this because I was booted off my mobile spotify with the message saying that my pasword was invalid. I reset my password and it worked for about 10 minutes. After that 10 minute period my spotify booted me off and when I went to log in again my password had again been reset. Only this time, the email was also changed. I quickly went to my desktop spotify which was still logged in and went to the account settings and noticed that my email had been changed. I would really like my account back, or my premium cancelled. Please can someone do one of the following:

 

1. Recover my account (I can PM the username and other details if needed, this is on a new account since I can't log into my original one)

2. Delete my premium subscription (it requires a password which I don't have)

3. Delete my account (Sure I'll lose some playlists but at least I can get another account)

 

Someone please help.

Hi,

 

My account has been hacked as well. Just hours after I took up the offer to upgrade it. 

 

I tried the Contact form but the hacker has changed both my password and the e-mail address so I won't get any reply from Spotify to my own e-mail address. How do I sort this out as soon as possible and how do I make sure someone doesn't do it again ?

 

Am in bits here and don't know what to do.

That is no good as whatever the reply is I won't see it with it automatically being e-mailed to the e-mail address the hacker changed mine to. Have just tried it again and it says the same. So not only have I wasted my time doing this twice now but twice the hacker will now know what I have said to Spotify in the Contact form, both the normal one I used first and the one you just gave me.

 

I cannot believe am paying for some thieving **** in Russia (according to the changed e-mail) to have a stolen Spotify account and there seems nothing I can do about it. And seemingly no-one neither I can get in touch with to sort it.
