I have bought the 1 year subscription and now I can't change payment method for future payments

Hi,

 

I have bought the 1 year deal last December, so I am good for almost a year, but nevertheless I want to be ahead of the game now that I am cancelling my current credit card. I would like to log my new card as the payment method, but there is no option to do so on the subscription page.

Hey there and welcome,

 

Can you check the "Subscription" page in your account ? There should be an update button on the bottom of the page.

That is the issue with me - on my subscription page, I just have a big white space where the payment method should be

Other than contacting Spotify Support via their contact form I am out of ideas.

It's probably not possible because of the way you payed for a year at once, and you'll have to set yourself a reminder in about a year to update your credit card.
