I have spotify free, but i'm still paying for premium??

Hello, 

I hope I can get some help through this post...

This is the story!

Some time ago, more then a year... (probably over 2 years...)

I wanted to become premium member! 

I upgraded my account and everything went fine!

Suddenly I think with the upgrade of the program 

my account became spotify free again...

I emailed my problem to spotify though the contact page...

They told me I had to look in the FAQ to solve my problem! 

I didnt found the solution, and after re-installing and other things I tried I kept spotity free while paying for premium...

I was a little mad because

It wasn't my choice to have this problem, It was caused because of an error inside the spotify program...

I didnt found the solution, I mailed to spotify and I got a response I had to look for the solution myself in the FAQ

So I decided become spotify free and NOT staying Premium.. 

BUT I couldnt become Spotify free BECAUSE in the program I was ALREADY spotify FREE. 

So al the FAQ about how to become spotify Free when you are premium weren't good for me because of this problem...

So I mailed again through the contact page. I told them I wanted to become Spotify free, I explained the problem. 

I told them I DID NOT want to stay (virtual) PREMIUM and that I DIDNT WANT TO PAY ANYMORE...

(So in fact the couple of months I was paying while staying Spotify Free after sending mails, I didn't make much of a problem of it

and I only asked for QUITTING my account and become A REAL spotify FREE. I didn't ask my money back, I just asked to QUIT)

but I never got any answer and my account stayed SPOTIFY FREE all this time, just until NOW. 

So many month later, I know this sounds stupid BUT cause I was never using it I forgot also... every month spotify keeps on taking 9.99€ from my account for nothing. After trying to become spotify free again, after sending mails that were never responded...

So after all this time still seeing that in fact every month they take money for nothing I feel a little bit cheated...

I hope through this my problem CAN be solved...

And now in fact I hope I will get a refund!! Because it is just not right, is it??

My program isnt Premium... IT is spotify FREE so in fact the money spotify takes every month from my account is not legal, is it?

I apologise for my way of speaking, but this just makes me annoying..

I hope you guys can help me, or maybe spotify reads this and we can handle this problem?

Hey @Sigert welcome to the Spotify Community!

The first place I suggest you look is this post: "Just upgraded? Not getting Premium?"

I can see that the account linked to your Facebook is the free account (you have a profile picture in the screenshot). Do you have another email address other than the one you use for Facebook? It sounds like your Premium account could be linked to that other email address.

It has always been the same account... I had to register for this forum thats why it's another pic i guess. 

But my question should be more simple: 

I'm paying for an account that 

1/ I can't use

2/ I don't want

How difficult can it be to have somebody of spotify solve my problem?

I only get pre-made emails from spotify, I already mailed lik 5 times...

So my question is: How can I reach a REAL PERSON of spotify to talk to me??????

@Sigert,

Make sure that you reply to the automated e-mail. You may also need to double check your spam folder.

Spotify does usually respond within 24-48 hours.
