I just cannot change my email adress

My Question or Issue

Hello I have been following other guides on how to change the email adress but it seems not to be working. After i logged into spotify.com and checked edit profile i was not able to edit my email adress. Its just not possible to rename it.

If you’re unable to change your email address, it’s likely because you signed up with Facebook. This means your Spotify account registered the email address associated with your Facebook account, and it’s not possible to change that with Spotify. 

To continue changing your email address for Spotify, I’d recommend creating a new account without Facebook. For more information, see I want to use Spotify without Facebook.

and why would i have to make new account? i just need to change my email..im sorry but this is absolutely wrong.. why cant you let me change me email?
