I'm a Premium member; decided to login to spotify.com; upgrade to premium buttons appear

Solved!

I'm a Premium member; decided to login to spotify.com; upgrade to premium buttons appear

Hi,

Just something that annoyed me. I have been a premium subscriber for over a year now (I think) and everything is working just fine. I never hear ads, I can save my music on my mobile device just fine.. So no problems there. However when I loged in to Spotify.com to check some account details I saw "upgrade" buttons to upgrade to premium everywhere. quite annoying and I decided to see how for I could go before the system realized I already have a premium subscription; I got to the payment module, meaning if I clicked the pay button I would have been charged for something that I already own.

  • Is this normal?
  • Could these "upgrade ads" be disabled if you already are a premium member?

Thanks in advance!

The upgrade link in the top bar is always there no matter if you have premium or not.

The other upgrade link is for people who want to upgrade their premium to a family plan.
