I'm being charged for something that I don't use

I'm being charged for something that I don't use

I had Spotify set up for me by another person. I latter lost my phone and opened a plan again. I have not information about my first plan and can't close it down. I am still paying for a plan I don't use

Hi there, and welcome to the Community!

If you don't have access to the email address used to create your former account, my first suggestion is that you get in touch with your credit card's bank. They will likely investigate the issue and work to resolve it for you.

Let me know how it goes 😊

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

What @Bittencourt said is valid, however there are a few steps worth trying first. Reaching out to the bank would only allow you to chargeback your payment or just block future payments and this won't resolve the issue completely. Try these steps out first to try and get back into your old account.

If that doesn't work, feel free to reach out to our support team, they can assist you further in getting back into the account, cancelling the unnecessary sub or transferring the library to your new account. Make sure to have all of your payment information on hand, as our team will need it to find the payments and verify you as the account owner.

Hope this helps.
