I think someone Hacked my Account

Hi there,

I was using Spotify last night with no problems, however when I went onto it this morning, all my playlists were gone (except one playlist I didnt make) and my search history had changed to stuff I had never heard of! I have since changed my password but is it possible to track where it was hacked, or is it possible to remove the link between Facebook and Spotify in case that is where the issue arose?

P.S - Just noted that when I went from Spotify to this help section it has shown me up with a completely different name, as a newbie. This is not the case as i have used spotify for 3+ Years.

It sounds like you’ve accidentally created a second account and signed into that one instead. I recommend checking out the FAQ page ”Can I create multiple accounts?” here. There you can determine if you have a second account, and what steps to take next.
