I thought I purchased a student discount? Instead got charged $9.99

I decided to purchase Spotify premium after my 3 month for 99 cents. I clicked on student discount, clicked on premium, never asked me for any student information, i typed in my credit card information, then i see that I got charged $9.99 instead of $4.99. I canceled a few seconds later and my question is, will I get a refund or will I get the student discount? Thanks.

I had the same problem. It looks like the button on the page redirects to spotify.com/us/student/verify but then that redirects immediately to your account settings page. It's a problem that looks like they need to fix. I submitted a problem to them about it. Hopefully they reply quickly or fix it.
