I want to close my account and get a new account

Hi, how can I close my account, so that I can have a new account with the e-mail now in use?

First of all, when your account is closed you won't have access to any of the information stored on it. 

You will lose:

• Your username, it can’t be used again with Spotify.
• Your saved music.
• Your playlists.
• Your followers.

Note: It’s only possible to close your account if you use our Free service. If you have Premium, you’ll need to cancel it and wait for your current subscription period to run out.
