I want to delete my account, but I just get automated emails

Hey there. I've seen how this a regular issue in this community, but I am too experiencing some difficulty in deleting my account.

It is weird how is weird to do this simple task here at Spotify.

Anyway, please someone help me?

I am a Deezer user the is wanting to come back to the green side of the force, but I want to clear all data about my previous account first.

Then, I will reuse the email in the new account.

I know I could just use this account, changing the settings I care about.

But I really want to get it deleted first. So, how do I do it?

Hello!

To delete your other account, you will need to contact Spotify here so they can help you.

I'd reccommend you to enter with the account you want to delete.

Explain them that you want to delete that account. They will mail the address linked to it.

In case you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

I already tried this. It's been 36 hours with no respose, and replying to a no-reply email seems like a sub optimal solution.

Is this really the only way?

Maybe by creating a topic here I get some mod attention
