I was charged even though my ID was not verified.

I was charged even though my ID was not verified.

I wanted to get premium through the student discount program, and as an incoming college freshman, it would be very nice to have. However, I couldn't get through with the payment since they couldn't verify my identification. I thought, "Okay, I'll try next week after my first classes." I check my bank account just to check on it, and it turns out I was charged $5.45 but I wasn't given premium. I tried contacting Spotify through email, and got a generic response. I tried contacting on Twitter but I'm also going to try here and see what my luck is like. Any help is appreciated!

Hey @pbrake,

 

If you haven't received a receipt for the purchase from Spotify via Email, it's very likely just a pending charge 🙂
