IP Adresses and Ports for Firewalls.!?

IP Adresses and Ports for Firewalls.!?

Morning All,
Can you please provide a list of IP addresses and Ports that are required for Firewall rules so Spotify can connect from within a Domain environment.
It would be an idea to actually publicize this information on the Support pages.

thanks

Andy

Hi @user-removed ,

Are these details required for a business use?

Afternoon,

it is being used within a business but it is a personal account, basically so they can listen to music whilst on thier break or lunch break.

I am alowing them to use the Internet to access it but our Firewall is blocking it, so needed the Spotify IP range and ports to get it to work.

thanks

Andy

Hey @user-removed ,

Thanks for your patience 🙂

Spotify are unable to provide a range of IP addresses, as these can change at any time. In order for Spotify to offer the best performance and availability, they need to be fully flexible in how they design their networks.

In addition, are you trying to use Spotify on a desktop? If so, you'll need to log in as an admin in order to set Spotify as an exception in the firewall. In the meantime, feel free to use the Spotify web player.

I hope this helps.

"set Spotify as an exception in the firewall"

Do you understand, that real firewalls exists?
Not only the Windows firewall.

Just let us know which ports are used.

Why do we have to reverse engineer the app? 😣🔨
