If i have a premium subscription for 3 months, can i still register for the student discount?

I have a 3 month premium subscription and want to know if I do the student discount now, will it bill me $5 a month after the 3 month subscription is over or will it cancel the 3 month subscription and bill me now?  The 3 month subscription says it will automatically renew and charge $10 but i want it to recognize that im a student and charge $5. What's the best way to go about this?  Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Spotify Community, we're glad to see you're part of the band.

Right now, you cannot have two of our sweet deals added to your account at the same time. Best thing to do here would be to cancel your current subscription and whenever your account gets back to Free, at the end of the Premium trial, apply the Student Discount.
