Intruders accessing my spotify account!

Intruders accessing my spotify account!

I noticed recently that my allocated 10 hours streaming on my free account was regularly at maximum, even though I've barely been using spotify for a while.  After installing Norton Internet Security trial, I discovered that there were remote users trying to access my account and have obviously been using up my streaming time.  Is there anything I can do? Can they access my account when spotify is offline?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Hello, Deejayh! Free users after six months of membership are allowed to listen to the music on Spotify for up to 10 hours per month (up to 2,5h per week for four weeks). Are you certainly sure that someone accessed your account? I suggest that you change your password and clean your computer from any malicious software you might have.

I'm also afraid that there's no way to get the hours back.

Hey 🙂

Just another hint!

If you think someone else is using your account, just changing your password won't be enough to kick them off until they need to log in again. If you drop a post onto this topic after you have changed your password the Spotify team can close all of your active logins for you, kicking any intruder from your account.
