I have recently been getting the notice 'Invalid Dependencies Conflicting versions for api dependency (0.1.0 and 0.1.1' when I try to access 'What's New.
As far as I know I haven't changed anything. The rest of Spotify seems to work OK.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
Sounds like your client hasn't updated correctly when the most recent update rolled out.
I would suggest you try a clean reinstallation and see if that helps.

Sorry I didn't mean to mark this as solved :S if a moderator sees this can you undo that action please?
If it doesn't work then just post back here 😉
Fingers crossed it will though, another posted said earlier that it fixed this on their system.

Now done as you said and it all seems to be working OK
Hi Peter
I've had the same error message re Invalid Dependencies conflicting versions for api dependency 0.1.0 and 0.1.1. and like prentonboy, 'what's new' is the only thing that seems to not be working.
I've followed the advice you gave and restarted my Mac a couple of times too but it's not working. One odd thing I've found is that when I launch Spotify after reinstalling it, it asks me if I want to upgrade to the latest version (in a blue bar across the top of the programme) I've selected yes, it restarts but nothing changes.
If I've just reinstalled it from the Spotify website (and the link you provided) I would have thought I'd be installing the latest version so as I said, I find this message a little odd and was wondering if that might be connected to the invalid dependencies message I keep getting?
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Rhiannon
The Spotify updates are a bit of a mystery to be honest.
The client updates are sometimes rolled out by country, meaning that the updates happen over a period of time, so not everyone moves to a new client immediately after it is released. Try downloading next time from this link.
When re-installing, did you manually delete the files it specifies in the guide I linked to above? Next time, if the client updates after you install, close Spotify and manually delete folders specified. Then restart the client and see if that solves this.
