My Question or Issue

I'm trying to log in on my old iPad but it says the account doesn't match even when I copy and paste my username. I'm using the app and that is the only place I can not login. I can login on the web browser and all my other apps so I don't know what the problem is?

Thanks for coming to the Community.

 

If you're having troubles using Spotify on your device, you'll also need to make sure that particular device meets the current minimum system requirements.

 

Unfortunately, if your device doesn't meet the minimum requirements, it won't be possible to use Spotify and access Spotify content through the Spotify app or troubleshoot it properly.

 

You can check out Spotify's current minimum system requirements here.

i do have the app though, but it just states that the email i entered doesnt match the account on my iphone 5 when the email exists

Spotify cannot guarantee that the app will function properly if its minimum system requirements aren't met. 🙂
