My Question or Issue
I've been a premium subscriber for over a year, and I'm currently on the student discount, but upon checking my account today, it says I will be charged tax on my next bill date. I was never charged for tax at all in the past, so is Spotify Canada starting to charge tax from here on?
Solved! Go to Solution.
You'll see the tax after you pay for the subscription (IF they charge tax), which you can view in your Receipts page. As mentioned in my last reply, it already said '+Tax', so in case they do - that would be your notice.
I hope this clears things up 🙂
Hey @mad1998, and welcome to the community.
Hope you're doing great!
The '+ tax' has always been shown for all Spotify accounts, as some places do charge tax. This doesn't mean that you specifically will be charged for tax, but if it does, then that would be your notice.
You can learn more about this here.
Have a nice day! 🙂
So if Spotify Canada starts charging tax, they will notify me?
