Issues with account

Hello,

 

I created an account while I was abroad to test out the service.  I have moved to Canada recently and am having issues with my account.  The country drop down on my profile only have US as an option, I cannot enter a Canadian postal code as it says it is invalid for my country and I am having issues logging into the app on my smartphone (PC works fine)

 

I would like to get set up with Spotify but would need to get these issues worked out in order to subscribe

 

Please let me know how we can proceed

Thanks for your post!

 

Changing your country is easy: just go here and switch your country to Canada.

 

Just make sure you're doing it via a CA url and you're using a Canadian IP address 🙂

Thank you for the tip.  Unfortunately that does not work.  As I said, I can access the account page and when I try to edit, the only country available in the drop down is USA.

 

I am at the Canadian spotify URL: https://www.spotify.com/ca-en/account/overview/

 

And as well I am presently in Canada, so Canadian IP should be good...

 

Hmmm, that's odd.

 

Users should be able to switch countries as long as they're using the country's IP and URL. 

 

No worries though, if you get in touch with Spotify Support over here, they'd be able to change it for you.

i've submitted a request there already as well so I hope they will be able to straighten me out

How long should it take usually to get a reply from support?  I would think its quite an easy account issue to fix and I am anxious to get set up!
