Issues with canceling subscription/re-subscribing for Starbucks discount

Okay so after a month of waiting to cancel my premium subscription to get my free Starbucks partners subscription (it told me I had to wait until yesterday around 4pm to cancel it and then get the Starbucks discount), I try to cancel and re-subscribe today but it says I now have to wait until May 29th! AND it's going to charge me $9.99 when I'm a college student and applied that discount. I'm a bit annoyed now. How can this be fixed?
